The Bluebirds have brought in released Coventry City player, Lee Fowler to Ninian Park on trial. Fowler will look familiar to many City supports as he scored the Sky Blues' first goal in their 3-0 victory against Cardiff in the FA Cup in January!

The Bluebirds have brought Coventry City attacker, Lee Fowler in on trial. The 19 year-old has been recently released by cash strapped Coventry after being told he was surplus to requirements at Highfield Road. Fowler, who has recently been included in the Wales Under-21 squad is seen as player with some potential and it will be some shrewd business by Lawrence if he can bring him to the club on a full-time basis. Fowler was also included in the Wales squad which drew 1-1 with Argentina last ??, but he is still yet to make his first senior cap. Cash strapped Coventry's play-off hopes are fading fast, and their recent run of terrible form has seen them just win once in their last 11 league fixtures. Fowler has made 7 starts for the Sky Blues scoring 1 goal, which was against the Bluebirds in the Third Round FA Cup tie at Highfield Road. He looked a decent player, who can hopefully do a job for City. Welcome to Ninian Park Fowler!
