Lennie Lawrence has admitted that Cardiff stand little chance of bringing Manchester United star, Luke Chadwick to Ninian Park within the next fortnight. This is mainly due to a problem with the current transfer window regulations on loan deals.

"Luke will not be joining us before Saturday and will probably not be joining us before the Saturday after either, however, we are still pursuing an interest in the player." said Lawrence. It is believed that the deal could be on hold because of difficulties with the transfer window regulations. Should Chadwick join Cardiff now, he would be unavailable for possible Division Two play-offs at the end of the current season, this us because under the new rules extensions to loan deals are forbidden. Meanwhile, Lawrence is still hoping to bring both Andy Melville and John Robinson to Ninian Park, although it is thought that no official approach has been made for either player yet.
