Brother of Liverpool star, John Arne Riise has joined the Bluebirds on trial. Bjorn Helge Riise has attracted intrest from a number of Premiership clubs, but Lennie Lawrence has been quick to bring him to Ninian Park. Brother of Liverpool star, John Arne Riise has joined the Bluebirds on trial.

19 year old, Bjorn Helge Riise will be sending the next few weeks at Ninian Park so Lennie Lawrence can get a better look at him.

Riise plays on the right side of midfield and has just completed a loan spell with Viking Stavanager of Norway.

Premiership clubs such as Leeds United and Manchester City have shown serious interest in the player, but the Bluebirds have been quick to bring the player to Ninian Park.

After a recent trial with Manchester City, Riise's agent said the following:
“Keegan said that Bjorn Helge has made such an impression at this week’s training in Manchester that the club want to secure a contract with him. Manchester City will be contacting Bjorn Helge’s club this weekend for further talks,”

It certainly looks like Cardiff may have some rivals to sign Bjorn Helge Riise.
