Newcastle United boss, Bobby Robson has restricted Toon striker, Craig Bellamy to only 20 minutes in Wales' opening European Qualification Match with Finland with worries over his fitness.
With Bellamy now a certain non-starter, this could mean that Robert Earnshaw could start the game up-front.
Earnshaw has had a fantastic start to his international career. His debut, against Germany saw him score the only goal of the game and win the Man of the Match award.
He was also involved in Wales' 1-1 friendly draw with Croatia.
Daniel Gabbidon is also likely to start after Robert Page pulled out of the squad.
