England International and former Liverpool star, Neil Ruddock has shown admiration for Cardiff's rising star, Danny Gabbidon.
"Razor" Ruddock has urged Wales manager, Mark Hughes to make Danny Gabbidon a regular in the Wales starting XI. He believes it will give the player some much needed experience which will help further his career.
Gabbidon is tipped by many Cardiff fans to be a big name in the future. It's in no doubt that the 22 year-old is a talented individulal, but he still has a lot of work to do if he is to fulfill the potential that many people think he has.
Ruddock also said how he saw similarities in Danny Gabbidon and Manchester United star, Rio Ferdinand, although he added that Gabbidon is still a long-way of the £30million defenders standard.
Rio Ferdinand is Gabbidon's hero, and this will come as a huge compliment to the West Brom reject.
Ruddock football career now looks to be coming to end after recently being transfer listed by Swindon Town. Swindon boss, Phil King felt he had no choice other than to transfer list the former Premiership defender, after he turned up for the pre-season unfit and well overight.
