Cardiff City defender, Scott Young has picked up another injury, after limping off in the City Reserve game last night.
The reserve game last night was Young's return to competitive football, but it lasted less than a minute for Scott, who limped off after 30 seconds.
"I jogged out for kick-off in the hope I could play, but I knew in my heart that wasn't going to work and I had to come off during the first minute. It's so frustrating, but perhaps the four-hour coach journey to Brighton may have had an affect, I just don't know." Said Young, who is entering his 9th year as a professional with the Bluebirds.
Young was hoping to get back into the first team for Cardiff's League Cup First Round tie with Boston United on September 11th, but that now looks unlikely after his disaBppointing return last night.
Physiotherapists will assess Scott's injury tomorrow.
