Another defeat and it's all gone pear shaped...

Lost the plot?

Cardiff City lost their fourth consecutive match at Burnley and the second of David Jones "six cup finals...." Their disastrous Easter has seem them slump to 10th place and another season in the Championship seems certain. Six points would have ben nice, four okay - we got none!

Where it all went wrong is hard to fathom, the club were SIX points clear at the top in November and the fall from those lofty heights has been nothing short of spectacular. The defeat at Turf Moor typifying recent matches, lots of posession but a lack of penetration up front. It seems that unless Michael Chopra scores we will struggle to get anywhere. On current form we are looking more like relegation fodder than promotion candidates.

Thecrowd last against Sheffield Wednesday was poor and next week high flying Stoke could well outshout the home support.

Those fans who have renewed their season tickets for next seaso, taking advantage of the club's early early bird reductions will have Championship football not premiership fayre once again to watch.

It's been a very poor last few months in all honesty, and making excuses isn't going to help. The media hype was all about the Bluebirds push for the premiership and the new stadium. One is now out of reach and the other is getting smaller!
