Forest are bookies favourite for forthcoming league season

Nottingham Forest have been almost unanimously named as favourites for promotion by the bookmaking industry.
All but one of the major bookies has backed Forest to not
only go up, but also to do so as Champions.
Forest had a particularly impressive season last time round
and narrowly missed out on second place to West Brom before falling to
Blackpool in the playoffs as tiredness kicked in.
Middlesbrough, Burnley and QPR make up the rest of the teams
backed for promotion.

Let's hope the players, staff and fans at the City Ground are full of this much optimism on the opening day of the season!
While I'd rather not be Fav due to the hype and everybody else wanting you to fail I can see why they are. The teams coming down are not as strong as last years and Leeds are probably a bigger threat than Pompey or Hull. If forest can get some away form throughout the season then they have a good chance.
I can see where you're coming from but hopefully the weight of expectation will spur the palyers on. Then again we have seen what it can do to teams such as England and Italy in this years World Cup so only time will tell. The experienced heads will need to keep us grounded!
