Krul Back In The Gym Ahead Of Pre-Season

Newcastle United goal-keeper Tim Krul is back in the gym following surgery on a dislocated shoulder towards the end of last season. Krul tweeted his rehabilitation progress after his first session. Krul was replaced by Rob Elliot, who was then replaced by Steve Harper for the final game of the season. Harper, who has now left the club leaves a gap in the the level of experience we have in goal, making Krul's progress all the more important ahead of the coming season.

He Tweeted;

"Just finished my first proper gym session of the new season. Shoulder is coming on well. Can't wait for season to start."
