Hughton Picks Up 3rd Manager Of The Month Award

Chris Hughton has been awarded his third manager of the month award this season after steering Newcastle United to their 6th consecutive win. Hughton who was given the manager's job earlier this season after a successful caretaker manager role can add his November acknowledgment to his August and September awards.

Meanwhile Kevin Nolan missed out on the player of the month award after former Newcastle United player Darren Ambrose now of Crystal Palace picked it up.

Earlier today Hughton said that he doesn't expect the next part of the season to be a walk in the park for his team, as reported by Sky Sports;

He said:

"If I look at what we have managed to achieve so far this season, we are always very keen to point that one out.

There will be bad times to come, I am sure, but we have shown a lot of resilience and that is the mark of any side which is doing well, that resilience resulting in clean sheets. I am absolutely delighted with that.

What we do know is we are going to have good days and bad days, and what we have so far shown is a resilience to cope with the bad days and, at times, get something from them.

There are times when you can't speak highly enough of the group of lads you have, and that applies today."

Well done Chris. He sure has the lads playing for each other and with the quality we have, if we show the same level of commitment as our opposition, the quality should shine through and we will win many games in this league, so well done to him for doing just that.
