PFA Chief Slams Kinnear & Talks About Respect

The Professional Footballers Association Chief Executive, Gordon Taylor has stuck his oar in and given his opinion on Newcastle United manager Joe Kinnear's mispronunciation of Charles N'Zogbia's surname earlier in the week.

Taylor Said;

"Why should we not expect Charles N'Zogbia to be upset when his own manager cannot even remember his correct name in public but chooses to say 'insomnia'? Respect runs two ways.

This is at best disrespectful and at worst deeply offensive, especially as insomnia is as difficult to pronounce as N'Zogbia. It's not good when people who should, cannot remember your name.

Ask Graham Taylor how he feels when he gets called Gordon Taylor. We are our name.

The word (insomnia) gives the media a stick with which to beat the lad."

The interview with Kinnear was televised midweek, and N'Zogbia responded by releasing a statement saying he would never play under Kinnear again whilst he is at Newcastle United.

The Frenchman got his wish and is currently participating in ongoing talks worth around £6million with Wigan Athletic.

Tempest, meet teapot.

The lad is unhappy. He's a disappointment to the club in more than one sense. Sell him. Very simple.

Its been no secret for a while that Charlie wanted to be away.
When Keegan was here, the Zog was the last to arrive at training and the first to leave!
