Valencia Match Delayed!

NEWS: Today's friendly against Valencia has been delayed by 2 hours - the new Kick Off time is 17.00 hours. A statement on the official club website announced that the Spanish side have been delayed after a problem with the plane they were due to arrive on. Official Statement:

"NEWCASTLE United's pre-season friendly against Valencia at St.James' Park on Saturday August 9 will now kick off at the later time of 5pm.

This is due to the delayed arrival of our opponents from Spain following a technical issue concerning their aircraft.

Supporters using corporate areas will still be able to enter the stadium from 1pm.

We apologise to supporters for any inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond the Club's control."

Supporters using corporate facilities will be able to enter the stadium from 1pm.

Caused me major problems as i'm taking the 3 kids today. We has planned to visit Stoewll St for a slap up Chinese before the match, but that has now got to be scrapped. The other issue is the finishing time has interfered with my evening working commitments. Absolute nightmare.
