Do You Want Darren Bent?

According to the most recent media gossip Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent will be leaving the club in the summer for an estimated £10Million. Newcastle United, West Ham and Manchester City have all been linked with a swoop for the 24 year old. What with Newcastle manager Kevin Keegan being rumoured to receive a large sum of cash to splash in the summer transfer window there is no doubt Newcastle will be the Media's prime candidate as his future club and so we can expect plenty more speculation.

Bent who scored his 8^th goal of the season against Newcastle at the weekend, in what was Newcastle's 2nd win on the trot this year is keen to keep his form and continue to hit the back of the net for Spurs ensuring a regular starting spot until the end of the season. Unfortunately for Bent, Spurs manager Juande Ramos seems set to slash his squad and rebuild it once the season has drawn to an end.

So, should Bent be on the market for a move in the summer months would you be happy to see him land on Tyneside and wear the black and white shirt next season or would you prefer to bypass the offer and aim for someone else?

With Martins and Owen I don't think we should buy a player of his limited ability for under £3mill.

Well with not buying him anyway. I dont really have much of an opinion on him tbh but I dont think we need him.

He would cost £10mill and would complain that he wasn't starting over the better players like Oba, MO and at times Viduka. He would want about £60k a week.

it depends, If Viduka goes which seems posible then Bent could be a decent replacement -not my first choice like but i would have an open mind

Would rather spend the 10 million somewhere else. I think we are good up front. Would like a creative midfielder to have that cash spent on. A Van der Vaart or Modric type player if possible.

£10 million maybe for someone who has proved themselves...but he is still a flop really.

Why would we want another one of those...we've had more than our fair share over the years.

Dont think we need him but the boy can score goals, owen martins ... Bent ? hmmmm not fussed, wouldnt shead a tear if nothing comes of it tho

By the way, Bendtner won't be sold.

If we're replacing Viduka, I'll take Kenwyne Jones. I don't give a f00k for whom he plays now.

Kuyt has been rubbish this season. I'm not sure he can finish his lunch anymore. One bright spot this season-having watched many of Liverpool's games I'm absolutely positive that Roeder made the right choice between Martins and Kuyt.

Along with Jones, I'd take Huntelaar.
