Tranmere Rovers manager Ronnie Moore today spoke about his thoughts on the difficult away task ahead away at Millwall this Saturday.  Millwall who have the second best home record in the division played Tranmere off the park when they visited Prenton Park earlier this season.

Moore is hoping to start the New Year with a win and told Tranmere World:

"We had a lot of games in short space of time and had a really good Christmas, taking seven points out of nine, and now we're looking forward to the Millwall game."

"They've got the second best home record at our level, but the last two seasons we've done well there and it's been quite a lucky ground for me. Fingers crossed that that continues.  It can be a daunting place to go, when the crowd get behind them they make a lot of noise.  But we're not playing the crowd, we're playing the team."

"We know how good and how organised they're going to be, so it will be tough, but it will be tough for them too."

"We need to put our away form right. It hasn't been good enough in away games lately and we have to have something different.  We've come up with one or two systems and hopefully we've got the right one to go to Millwall with."

"We weren't at our best, that's for sure.  But they're very well organised. They have two banks of four and the two wide men know their jobs. They drop back, they tuck in and play narrow and the full backs are attacking."

"They've got good quality players all over and that's why they are where they are. But I'm sure Kenny Jackett doesn't think it will be easy playing against us.  We're going to go there, work our socks off and hopefully start the new year with the win that we need."

Moore also revealed that Chris Greenacre and Craig Curran will be unavailable to the trip to the New Den.
