The French media have reported that Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia is watching a brace of players.
Reports suggest that Sbragia is watching Le Havre centre half Loic Nestor, and FC Lorient's forward Fabien Robert.
Nestor is 19 years-old and a French U 21 international having already forced himself into the first team at Le Havre. The youngster is highly rated by the French press and has also interested Paris Saint Germain and AS Monaco.
Striker Robert is a relative of former Newcastle United, Portsmouth and Derby County winger Laurent Robert, and is another highly rated starlet among the French media. The 19-year-old has only made a handful of appearances FC Lorient so far this season.
