Dwight Yorke

Two Sunderland Stars were on the scoresheet for the Soca Warriors as Trinidad & Tobago earned a 2-2 draw with El Salvador in a world Cup qualifier.

However, surprisingly Kenwyne Jones was not one of the scorers.

Winger Carlos Edwards opened the scoring for the Soca Warriors in the 7th minute, getting the Trinidadian's off to a great start.

Dwight Yorke then scored the second goal for Trinidad and Tobago from the penalty spot in the 27th minute.

El Salvador then scored two goals withing the last 11 minutes to earn themselves a draw before Yorke, currently in a player/coach role at the Sunderland Stadium of Light, was sent off in the 4th minute of injury time for a second bookable offence

The three Black Cats involved, Jones, Yorke and Edwards all return without any injury worries which will please boss Ricky Sbragia who needs all of his players fit for the run in.
