Naylor Aims For Play-Offs

Town defender Richard Naylor believes Town should be aiming for a top six finish next season to make up for last year.

Town came 15th in the Championship last season and that according to Naylor that simply is not good enough and Town must be able to improve on it for next season.

 

Naylor: “There is no hiding from the fact that it was a poor year last season, but it's a new start for us with Jim coming in and he's got loads of new ideas. It's up to us to put them into effect on the pitch.

 

“We did have a lot of injuries last season and hopefully we can stay clear of many of those for next year and put together a settled side.

 

“It will be a very competitive league, the Championship, but I think a top six target is a realistic one for us.”
