Town Apply For Permit

Ipswich Town will be applying for a work permit to allow Ricardo Fuller to join Town on-loan from Southampton.

The football league and the FA both cleared Fuller to spend a month on-loan at Town but work permits UK blocked the move as Fuller’s permit is for him to play at Southampton only. Town have now applied for a temporary permit.

 

Town chief Executive Derek Bowden: “Ricardo has gone back to Southampton for now but we have applied for a work permit, we are now waiting to hear when Work Permits UK will sit in judgment of the application.

 

“We are not sure if that will be immediately or not. It's just a case of waiting for them now and taking it from there but the application has gone in.”
