Danny Claims Goal

Ipswich Town striker Danny Haynes is claiming Town’s 2nd goal against Norwich City earlier today.

Haynes and Norwich defender Gary Doherty both challenged for Alan Lee's header and although the goal has been credited to the City player in some places Haynes wants to claim it.

 

Danny: “I'm claiming it.

 

“I definitely got a touch on the ball when it came back from Alan's header and it should be my goal.

 

“It was a massive win for us and the fans and we know that the Play-Offs are still possible. We just have to keep on winning games,”
