Williams On Switch

On-loan West Ham midfielder Gavin Williams has been speaking about his loan arrival at Portman Road from the premiership.

The 25-year-old Wales international midfielder has joined on a months loan from West Ham starting today and he says he had no hesitation about joining.

 

Williams: “It's great to be at a top club like Ipswich.

 

“When West Ham told me that Ipswich wanted me on loan I jumped at the chance to come here.

 

“I know what Ipswich are all about, a big club, great fans, fantastic stadium and a team that likes to pass the ball around and play good football.

 

“I'm really looking forward to my time here. It's a new challenge for me and the opportunity to play first-team football and help Ipswich move up the table.”
