Town Land Fish

Ipswich Town have today signed 31-year-old Charlton Athletic defender Mark Fish on a month’s loan.

Fish was on trial at Town earlier in the month but injury forced him back to Charlton but he is now recovered and will join for a month as cover for Jason De Vos who has cracked 2 ribs, if the 31-year-old does well it is expected that Joe Royle will take up the option to sign him on a free transfer.

 

Town manager Joe Royle: “I spoke to Charlton manager Alan Curbishley and he confirmed that Mark was fit and eager to play.”
