Castro Signs

Spanish defender Sito Castro has changed his mind on the one year contract offer and has today signed the deal after initially rejecting it.

The 25-year-old defender was offered a one year deal yesterday but turned the deal down and was expected to head back to Spain in search of a new club but has instead signed the deal which will keep him at Town for next season.

 

Castro: “Ipswich is a big club and I wanted to sign but there were a few contractual problems, now the problems have been sorted out and I've agreed to sign because I believe Ipswich are one of the strongest teams in the Championship and can reach the Premiership.”
