Mitchell To Miss Start Of Pre-Season

Another one of Towns rising stars is to set to miss the first few days of pre-season training because on an injury.

The 19-year-old defender sustained ankle ligaments damage while playing Towns reserves in March. He has already been under the knife for the injury but his ankle is in a cast and that won’t come off until the start off May.

 

Town physio Dave Williams: “He will be back in the gym at the start of July and looking to strengthen the ankle and work from there, But because the cast will only come off a week or so before the other players return, he will be playing catch up.”
