Gaardsøe Backs Town

Former Ipswich Town defender Thomas Gaardsøe is hoping Town can his West Brom side in the premier league next season.

Thomas, who was part of the Ipswich squad that got relegated in 2002 and played his part in helping the baggies avoid that fate on the final day of the premiership season, helping them go from bottom on the premiership table to 4th bottom keeping them up and sending Southampton, Norwich and Crystal Palace down and he is hoping that one of those 3 is replaced by Town.

 

Gaardsøe: “I really hope Ipswich can join us in the Premiership. I really believe they can do it.

 

“I was pleased to see them come from two goals down against West Ham and now I think they will beat them and go on to be promoted.”
