Former Ipswich Town first team coach and current manager at Scottish side Hibernian Tony Mowbray is looking at signing two of Towns youngsters.

Mowbray who left Town in the summer to take over at Hibs is looking to strengthen his squad and Town midfielder Antonio Murray and defender Chris Hogg are among the players he has targeted.

Mowbray: “Antonio is training with us for a few days. He's a young boy who hasn't progressed as much as he probably should have for a player of his ability.

“I want young hungry footballers, so it's a chance to assess if he falls into that bracket and it is also a chance for him to have a look at the club and the city.”

Town will allow Murray to go out on loan in order to get some first team experience and Chris Hogg is on a free transfer after failing to impress after his £150,000 move from York.
