Ipswich Town's academy director Bryan Klug will be running all of the 26 miles in New York’s marathon at the weekend.

The 26 mile run will take him though the Bronx and Brooklyn for the first time as a runner and he hopes to complete the course in under 4 hours despite his lack of training.

Bryan: “I have run the London Marathon twice before but this is a new challenge and one I am looking forward to, the opportunity to take part in any major sporting event is always exciting and hopefully I can raise some money for a local charity as well.

“I have done as much training as I can but it's not easy given the job I do at the Club and is nowhere near what I should have done. Anything under four hours would be great though.”
