Ipswich Town trio Lewis Price, Dean Bowditch and Jim Magilton have been speaking about today’s 2-1 win away at Coventry City.

Goalkeeper Price has said: “Delighted with the penalty save. Spoke to Andy Rhodes before the game and he said that John had sent a penalty that way in a previous game so just tried my luck and pleased it came off. Had to calm myself down after. They had few chances and we defended well and deserved to win the game. Confidence high now and looking forward to facing England U21s.”.

Dean Bowditch who scored Town‘s first said: “My goal was a tap in really. It was a great ball in from Benty and I just had to get in on the end of it. Conceding the goal knocked us back a bit but although the winner was unfortunate for them, we deserved to win the game.”.

Captain Magilton: “We dominated the play in the second-half and I would have been disappointed with the draw. We were the better side and deserved the points. Lewis did fantastic for the save and Deano showed his ability. He has a lot to learn yet but he is going to be a special player. Now looking forward to the break.”.
