Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle is disappointed that Town only came out of tonight’s game against Reading with only a single point.

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle is disappointed that Town only came out of tonight’s game against Reading with only a point.

Speaking after the game Royle said: “We were on the wrong end of a few strange refereeing decisions, not least the goal which was blatantly offside.

“I couldn't believe the linesman didn't see it and we also could and should have had a penalty when Shefki went down in the box.

“I was disappointed we didn't win the game anyway. We had enough chances and Shefki could have had a hat-trick, in fact the goal he scored was the hardest chance he had on the night.

“I was delighted with the performance and we deserved to win. We played some excellent football, the fitness levels were good and we would have gone top if the officials had done their job.”.
