Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle believes that introducing video replays into football would be a bad idea even after Saturdays happening’s at Fulham.
Royle has said: “I certainly wouldn't like to see it brought in.
“It
would take a lot of the drama and controversy out of football and the fans
thrive on that.
“Over a season these decisions even themselves out and
that even happened in our game with Millwall when both teams should have had
penalties.
“The referee plays it how he sees it and instead of looking at
modern technology, I think we should be looking to give more support to the
referee and greater respect as well.”.
