Ipswich town defender Jason De Vos is a doubt for Sunday’s game against Millwall after injuring his knee while playing with Canada.

The 30 year old defender was sent home by Canada and will receive treatment here, Ipswich manager Joe Royle has said: “It might be Sunday morning before we know if Jason will be fit and he is rated at 50-50, he is a resilient lad as he showed when he played through a deep bruising to his right leg.”.

In better news for Joe, Matt Richards came though last nights reserve game against Watford unharmed, Pablo Couñago and Tony Dinning also put their names forward for a first team place.

Royle: “Matt Richards will be back in contention for our match against Millwall on Sunday, while Tony Dinning also did well. Striker Pablo Couñago showed encouraging signs and his attitude is getting better.”.
