Stuart Still To Come?
Charlton Athletic midfielder Graham Stuart has not ruled out a loan move to Ipswich if he doesn’t play for the Addicks in the next few months.
Graham may well of came to Portman Road if Town striker Darren Bent had been sold to Charlton but Bent didn’t go and Graham didn’t come, but the 33 year old midfielder has admitted he would consider Town if he didn’t get first team football in the premiership.
Stuart has said that: “I was looking forward to the season. And I'm
disappointed not to have figured, to say the least.
“I am surprised that
I haven't been on the bench either and I can't say I know the reason
why.
“I've gone to see Curbs about it and ask what my situation is and he
says he's keen to keep me because he wants a big squad.
“I feel I can
still do a job in the Premiership but the situation is pretty simple really. If
in the next few months I don't get a look in, then in fairness to me I think the
gaffer's got to let me go out on loan.
“I've got a lot of respect for Joe
Royle. I'd consider going there. If you're not featuring - and I'm blatantly not
- you have to look at all of your options.”.
