Town captain Jason De Vos says he welcome the expected take over of the club by businessman Marcus Evans as it will add to competition for places once Magilton is allowed to spend money. De Vos: "The general feeling in the dressing room is one of excitement.

"The first thing most people ask is how much is being made available for the manager to spend on players and, of course, it is one we can't answer.

"As a club we want to attract the best possible players and if the manager has that financial backing it can only be a good thing.

"Yes, it puts people under pressure and adds competition for places but that has to be a positive thing and something that is exciting.

"In football there is always speculation and it is always a revolving door. If you can't handle that then you won't survive in this game.

"I'm very much looking forward to players being added as that will make it a better team."
