Town coach Bryan Klug has praised Town midfielder Owen Garvan for the way he acted during Town's draw with Plymouth on Saturday after Fabian Wilnis was sent off. Wilnis was dismissed for a two footed tackle just five minutes after coming on to replace Alex Bruce, Wilnis' dismissal left Jason De Vos without a central defensive partner until Garvan dropped back from midfield.

Klug: "In the mayhem over red cards, substitutions etc Owen took it upon himself to take over as Jason De Vos' partner.

"This is the type of lad he is - and he did well.

"He has always told me that he can play at the back, and perhaps one day some way down the line this might be his position.

"But the lad has a big future ahead of him first in midfield."
