Town are waiting for the results of an MRI scan on Gavin Williams ankle to determine just how bad his ankle injury is. Williams had to be carried off on a stretcher during Town's friendly against Panathinaikos and went for X-Ray straight away, the x-ray has shown there is no break in the ankle but there is ligament damage.
Town physio Matt Byard: "The x-ray showed no bone injury to Gavin's left ankle but he has ligament damage, the ankle is very swollen and he will have a MRI scan later this week as soon as the swelling settles down.
"The result of the MRI scan will give us a much clearer idea of what the injury is and how long he will be out for."
