Clarke To Miss Barnsley

Town striker Billy Clarke looks set to miss Town’s game against Barnsley on Saturday with an ankle injury.

Town’s head of sport science Dave Williams: “Billy looks like he will miss the Barnsley game.

 

“He jarred his ankle ligaments in the Norwich game and the weekend looks too early for him.

 

“It's nothing major and we're hopeful that he will be fully recovered in time to play against Derby next week.”

 

Midfielder Gary Roberts is also carrying an injury but should be fit enough to take part, Williams added: “Gary Roberts has also picked up a slight groin injury in training and will sit out the sessions until Friday but he should be okay for the weekend.”
