Fans with tickets for Saturday's FA cup tie have been warned it is illegal to sell them on the internet - after several tickets appeared on the eBay auction website. Police have said they are now working with the site to remove ticket adverts for the clash.
PC Mark Smith said:
"If you don't want your match ticket, give it back to the club so they can sell it to someone else.
"Anyone caught illegally selling a ticket for this Saturday's match could end up facing a fine of up to £5,000.
"Touting tickets on the internet is illegal because it means away fans can buy tickets in areas allocated for home supporters, potentially compromising security."
