Solano Not Prosecuted

Former Newcastle midfielder Norberto Solano has not been prosecuted over passport irregularities.

The 4-year investigation, starting when the Peruvian was playing on Tyneside, has ended with no further action to be taken against the Aston Villa midfielder.

 

It was suspected he obtained a work permit falsely, but it has all being cleared up now to reveal an innocent Nobby.

 

A police spokesperson said:

 

"After a thorough investigation of those matters, there will be no further police action,"
