Where will James Milner play at Newcastle United? He played upfront at Leeds' aswell as playing on both flanks. I don't know where he will fit in at St James' Park, and neither does he! The youngster who signed for £3.6million claims he doesn't have a specific aim regarding his position.

18-year-old Milner explained:

"My aim has got to be to play as much first-team football as possible.

"But I think being able to play in a variety of positions is a help rather than a hindrance.

"Some people think you're better to have a specialist position and maybe I will do later.

"But at the moment, I think being versatile will help get me more first-team experience, and I'm happy playing anywhere attacking.

"When you look at the attacking players at Newcastle I don't want to be just going up against one of them, so it will help being able to push for a variety of positions."

United fans saw Milner make his debut on the left wing when he replaced Laurent Robert two days ago in the 1-1 draw against Thailand, but will he play there this coming season?
