Despite dramatically exiting the UEFA cup on Thursday night in Marseille Sir Bobby is well aware that Newcastle are being given two games to get their act together and claim fourth as their own. And that beating wolves is the only way ahead!

“We have to get over this disappointment quickly. We've made sure that the players have had their rest and have been able to prepare properly for the Wolves game.”

Marseille was a tough lesson learned and the fact that 100% has to be put into every game is something each and everyone of the Newcastle team who performed on Thursday night should now be well aware of.

"They need to rest, recover and then renew the battle against Wolves. We've got two away games to play after that - but they won't be any tougher than the match we played against Marseille."

Sir Bobby will be a disappointed man if his team fail to secure fourth place this season after battling throughout the season against Liverpool and Aston Villa who have all been jumping between 4th 5th and 6th place over the last few weeks.
