WOODGATE TORMENTED BY COURT CASE

Former Leeds United player, Woodgate, was found guilty for his part in an attack on an Asian student while on a night out in the centre of Leeds.
He has since suffered greatly from the court case, according to manager Sir Bobby Robson, but he has been a model professional whilst at St James Park.
Robson explained: "The problems Jonathan went through almost killed him.
"He could not eat, he could not sleep, he could not train.
"He was left looking gaunt and had lost weight. His whole family were affected by what went on.
"Since Jonathan has been at Newcastle, he has not caused me one moment of trouble.
"He is a jovial lad who likes a laugh and a joke, but he has been a model professional.
"He is one if the best defenders in the country and he's up there with Sol Campbell, John Terry and Rio Ferdinand."
