Newcastle Utd 3-1 Leicester

Not a particularlly good performance against a poor side to be honest,and the sooner these buggers go down the better. It will save us all having to go to that awful town called Leicester and once the lads got in front they never looked back.

However in the first half-hour this raggedy-arsed team caused us some problems and again we lacked width with Viana pushing in way to much and Al and Shola not getting any decent service.

29 minutes gone and ANOTHER Shearer flick-on and Impey rashily cleared it straight to Shola.The kid hit it and it seemed to take a deflection of the unfortunate Gerry Tagart and in. Again SJP was quiet.What the hell is wrong here?Why is SJP so quiet these days??? Anyway 35 minutes gone and a delightful Bernard cross was put into his own net by the luckless Taggart and the lads were crusing.

59 minutes and it was 3. Shearer put in a cross for the much-maligned Jenas to head home.You could see the relief in the kids face as the ball hit the net. He made a great run and he couldnt miss. 3-0 up against a shit side like this with 30 minutes left.

Surely we'd go and score a bucketful,wrong Sir Les came on (to a terrific reception)and scored with a bullet header to give the pitiful Leicester support something to cheer about. Sir Les is too good for this lot. Bellamy and Bridges came on and Bridges look short of confidence and fitness and Bellamy missed ANOTHER chance.

All in all a comfortable win but not a very good performance. Away to Rovers on Wednesday we cant afford another draw we have to start winning games if we are to salvage anything out of this poor season.
