FA CUP REACTION!

Chris Baker:

The long wait for silverware continues, but if we can come 4th and invest, we can have a better go at it next year. Anything can happen in the Cup, as we have seen, we just have to continue the good form in the league and be sure to finish 4th.

groundhogdaze:

It's the frustrating side of NUFC. A team with so much talent on their day you wouldn't be frightened of anyone, but you never know which toon team is going to turn up. If only they were as consistent away from home as the fans..............

Frustrating, disappointing. Don't think anyone would disagree that subbing Nobby was not the way to go and the tactics coincided with Liverpool taking charge of the game. It was worrying how little we created and I think Dyer proved again that he's not a striker (as did Ameobi!!!). Where do we go from here? The inevitable battle with Liverpool for 4th place. Would 4th place be a good season, guess it depends how close we end up being to the top 3.
