The Frenchman and the Peruvian ace played a big part in the Magpies' victory over Fulham on Monday night and teammate Jenas is convinced that the duo can and will help Newcastle reach the fourth Champions League spot.
Despite rumours linking Nobby with a move to Aston Villa, he appears to be ready to fight all the way at Tyneside and Sir Bobby's cause. Laurent Robert is also ready to pull out all stops.
Speaking about the pair, England midfielder Jenas said: "On their day, if the pair are on song, then they are unstoppable and are up there with the best.
"Nobby is not going to go past people but he is very clever with his mind. When he puts his crosses in they more often that not cause defences problems.
"Laurent, on the other hand, obviously has undoubted ability and with his power and ability to bend the ball it's a massive bonus for us to have two players like that.
"Laurent's goal the other night was a bit of a mad one. It was a great goal. That's just what he is capable of and he has proved that for us this season."
Robert is one of seven Newcastle players to find the net in the league this season apart from skipper Alan Shearer, but Jenas is yet to find the net.
"I would like to see myself on the scoresheet but it doesn't seem to be dropping for me at the minute," he added.
"A few of the lads are contributing now and it's good to see. Laurent is contributing massively and hopefully we can continue to do that."
