Leicester City are reportedly ready to snap up Newcastle United defender Nikos Dabizas in next month's transfer market.

Foxes boss Micky Adams is hoping to sign the Greek international, who has been on the transfer-list at St James' Park since the summer, on-loan until the end of the season.

If he does sign for Leicester, he will join former Magpies' Steve Howey, Les Ferdinand and Keith Gillespie.
