Newcastle United midfielder Gary Speed has admitted that playing two games a week makes him happiest.

Newcastle United midfielder Gary Speed has admitted that playing two games a week makes him happiest.

Speed has been heavily involved in domestic action and in Europe for the Magpies this season and was captain as Wales drew 0-0 with Russia in thier Euro 2004 play-off today.

SPEED SAID: "I actually feel better playing twice a week than I do playing once a week. I think my body reacts better when playing twice a week."
