Kazenga LuaLua has sent a message to caretaker manager Chris Hughton, that he is prepared to play anywhere in order to play for Newcastle United. The Congolese youngster has been presented with the chance of regular first team football and offers versatility on the pitch.
He told the Gazette;
"Right wing, left wing or in the middle - I don't mind where I play. If Chris wants me to play in any position, I can't refuse - I just want to play football.
I don't mind playing anywhere for this club, and I can give the manager different options.
I can play in centre midfield or up front, but I prefer to play on the wings, because I like to take people on and cross the ball, or have a shot. I also like to come inside."
They won't get us promoted but at the moment with everything going on it's about staying in the league as potentially what happened to Leeds could happen to us, the youngsters are good enough with some of the cheaper experience. the problem that the Toon have is no manager and could be the downfall of the club not the players.
It's good to see lua lua saying that he will play in different positions, it just proves he is keen to make a impression until he can secure the position he wants
