Darren Pratley agrees terms with Nottingham Forest?

Early reports suggest that Swansea favourite Darren Pratley has agreed terms with Forest.

According to various sources, the announcing of the deal is imminent after the agreed terms pleased all concerned parties. This is contrary to earlier reports which had suggested Darren Pratley had agreed terms with SPL heavyweights Celtic.

Elsewhere it has been said that Forest are still talking to Cardiff about Peter Whittingham, however terms have not yet been agreed. We can also confirm that the rumoured switch for Robbie Earnshaw is not a possibility that is being entertained by Forest, however whether Cardiff had requested this remains unknown.

Of Forest's other targets, Aston Villa have responded to the Reds' enquiry on Nicky Shorey and have set out their required fee. 

We will endeavour to keep you updated. (Oh, and we are providing an overview of speculation not the gospel!)

With miserable commenters like Kevin Oddy on your back I sometimes wonder why you guys bother. Keep up the good work chaps, who cares if it's only rumour, those of us living outside Notts love to know in what direction the chins are wagging

As you say we're merely reporting on the speculation and what's being said at the minute. That said, the person I have heard this from is usually very reliable however revealing your sources is never a good idea if you want to stay on the receiving end of their knowledge!

Why would he join Forest? Why not? We finished higher than you last season for one. Plus I would suspect that we could probably pay him better wages. It's not like I'm giving it the old "Forest are a big club blah, blah, blah"; it's just that it's probably true. You lost Britton already and your manager is on the verge of leaving. Playing nice football will get you admirers but it didn't get you into the play offs did it? Which in all honesty I wish you had as Blackpool certainly had our number last season. Would have much more fancied our chances against you.
