Forest miss out on target as Pratley poised for Celtic move

Darren Pratley is set to complete a 1million move to Celtic this week according to today's News of the World.

The 25 year-old Swansea man had been a well publicised target of Nottingham Forest with Billy Davies hoping he could bolster his options in midfield. The news that he is set for a move to Parkhead comes just days after the interest of Premiership side Wigan was speculated in the media.

There is however plenty of time for Forest to strengthen their squad over the summer. Last year Forest didn't make the first of six additions to their squad until late June. With the World Cup looming, it could be even longer before official confirmation is made of the Reds activity this close-season.

I am disappointed by this but at the same time half expected they wouldnt want to sell to a rival club!
