Players Feeling The Pressure

Marney heads down tunnell

The pressure seems to be getting to the Hull players having gone 11 league games without a win. the pressure on the team was apparent in the game against Blackburn on Sunday as the crowd began to be come disgruntled at Substitutions and player mistakes. Phil Brown believes this pressure resulted in Marney lashing out and been sent off.

"I'm disappointed about Dean," said Brown.

"But if you look at the last couple of years, it was very uncharacteristic of the lad. It just shows you how much pressure these players are under when they cross the white line. Retaliation is not one of the traits of Dean Marney.

"It was an uncharacteristic move and he got his comeuppance. He was in tears in the changing room afterwards, but that counts for nothing."

Marney will now miss Hull's next three games against Fulham, Newcastle and Wigan.

Marney will be a miss and its more problems Phil Brown could to without asthe pressure also mounts on him.
