Vote for you Man of the Match from tonight's 2-0 home win over Barrow at Prenton Park.....

After a second successive 2-0 win for Rovers to open the new season, this time at home to Barrow, we are once again giving you the chance to vote for your Man of the Match from the game as our post-match poll series returns for the new season.

In yet another game where Rovers goalkeeper Scott Davies was relatively untested, it was former Barrow striker Andy Cook and fellow striker James Norwood who sealed the win.

Former Barrow striker Cook headed Rovers in front in the 41st minute against his former side from a pinpoint Steven Jennings corner and immediately ran to the corner of the Cowshed where the Barrow fans were congregated after they had spent the first 40 minutes of the game berating their former star man.

Norwood sealed the win four minutes from time after he was fouled by Barrow goalkeeper Dixon and converted the spot-kick himself for what was already his third goal of the season.

Was close between Maynard & Connor for me. Went with Connor on the Club's vote, but gonna go with Maynard on here.

Could see in pre season that this is clearly Maynard's best position, sitting just in front of the back 4
